Jensen Ackles' Journal

Yeah I am one of those guys from that awesome show about those two brother’s who roam across American to search and destroy all those evil supernatural son’s of a bitches. No I am not the tall puppy faced one sorry to break it to ya‘ll, that’s Jared aka Jumbo. The name’s Jensen. Not Jen or Jenny. It’s Jensen. Jensen Ackles. The smarter, better looking, more suave, overall better one. Just overall better then Jumbo.

I hail from the great state of Texas where everything is bigger, badder and more awesome. I had a pretty normal upbringing and no I do not have middle child syndrome. Went to school, played sports went to church did a little modeling. Yup pretty normal if you ask me. When I was a sophomore in High School, a friend asked me to go to a local acting seminar with him. Two guys Craig Wargo, and agent, Michael Einfeld were very interested in me and wanted me to come out to L.A. I wanted to finish high school before doing anything like that. I figured they'd just forget about me, but they kept after me for two years. Best disunion I ever made finishing High School before going and seeing what this acting gig was all about. I mean I knew some thing’s since my Dad is a actor and all but he just did little jobs round Texas, nothing like Hollywood. So before I graduated, I came out to Los Angeles for two weeks to see what the industry was about. I was already registered to go to Texas Tech University. I had my classes all set, I had a roommate, the whole deal. Then, I booked my first audition---a guest spot on Sweet Valley High. I ended up booking an independent film, too, but I wasn't able to do it because I wasn't going to be in town long enough. After that, my manager and agent told me I really needed to be out here. I was still pretty skeptical, so I went home and talked to my parents. I realized that if I would always wonder what I could have done. I decided to come out here for a semester or two. If nothing happened, I would go back home and go to school. And that’s how I got into this crazy business.

I’ve been lucky enough to work on some great things with some great people Days of our Lives, Dark Angel, Dawson’s Creek, Smallville and well of course Supernatural. Also have been lucky enough to make a few movies such as Blonde, Devour, Ten Inch Hero and I finished filming a 3-D flick called My Bloody Valentine due out in January 2009 which is a remake but it was the summer to make remakes seeing as a certain person I know remade Friday the 13th. And yes in Ten Inch Hero that was my idea to wear the kilt because kilts rock, don’t deny it. And I looked damn sexy in mine.

Okay well Jumbo is gassy and I am getting outta here because his gas is deadly. You think I am kidding huh? You should see the house we share. The plants are all dead cause his gas is toxic.
